Delete your account and data

How to delete your Sparky account, what is erased, and what is kept.

Sydentia Oy · Sparky (com.sydentia.sparky) · Last updated: 21 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your Sparky account and what happens to your data.

  1. Open Sparky and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm in the dialog.

Your account and data are deleted immediately. You are signed out, and the local copy of your data on your device is erased. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

If you can't access the app, email privacy@sydentia.com from the address associated with your account (or tell us your @handle) and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your request and delete your data.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently delete:

  • your journal/reflection entries, life-area summaries and assessments;
  • your memories and personality profile;
  • your chat history with the Sparky AI;
  • your contacts, @handle, contact requests, and blocks;
  • your devices and push tokens;
  • your ad preferences and hidden-advertiser choices;
  • your safety signals;
  • your subscription/entitlement records linking purchases to you;
  • your account itself.

Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google. Deleting your Sparky account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

What is retained, and why

A limited set of records is retained but no longer linked to you:

  • Financial and transaction records (for accounting/tax and revenue-sharing obligations) are kept only as monetary totals with your identity removed.
  • Messages you sent in group chats are stripped of their content and your identity, so the other participants' conversations stay intact.
  • A security/audit log that does not contain your account identifiers is retained.
